Microblading

Microblading

Microblading is a procedure suitable for people with sparse, uneven or completely missing eyebrows. It provides a solution to the problem of insufficient density and thickness of natural hairs, as well as the opportunity to correct the shape, thickness, and length of the eyebrows. It includes a basic procedure and a touch-up after 3-4 weeks. After procedure, it is very important to follow the aftercare instructions to maintain the results for a long time.

Microblading is a cosmetic semi-permanent makeup procedure performed using a manual (non-machine) tool – a disposable pen. The tool consists of very fine needles arranged in a line, forming a blade with which each individual hair is hand-drawn, while simultaneously implanting pigment into the skin. Each new stroke mimics the natural eyebrow hairs and blends perfectly with the existing brows, adding color and fullness, resulting in a very natural look.

Thin, sparse, and uneven eyebrows can be the reason you don’t like your reflection in the mirror. If you spend countless hours drawing and filling in the gaps, unsure about the color and shape, or worry about whether your eyebrow makeup will smudge or fade when you’re outside, and you want eyebrows that won’t wash off in the shower or pool, microblading is the right choice for you.

The difference in skills, experience, and approach between microblading artists can be significant, as well as the results and the price of the procedure. The truth is that not all microblading specialists work the same way. Personally, I rely primarily on an individualized approach and do not follow a template, but instead work based on the uniqueness of each client. I take into account not only the desired look, but also natural factors such as anatomy, hair type, and age. I prefer microbladed eyebrows to look as natural as possible, but if necessary, I can perform a full transformation or complete reconstruction. I have been doing this since 2016, and my experience as a makeup artist gives me a significant advantage, confidence, and ease in the field of semi-permanent makeup. If you like my style and the results I share, feel free to contact me for a free consultation. We can meet in advance and discuss everything you’re concerned about, so you can feel confident in your choice.

Microblading is the perfect solution if you have normal or dry skin. It also provides great, long-lasting results on mature skin. For clients with moderately oily skin, I offer a combined technique of microblading + micropigmentation, while for very oily skin, micropigmentation is the best solution.

It takes about 3-4 weeks for the eyebrows to achieve their final look. The skin healing process itself takes around 2 weeks.

It varies for each person, but it can be anywhere from 9 months to 2-3 years, depending on the skin type and the client's lifestyle.

To achieve the best possible results from the procedure, it is important to follow certain recommendations and restrictions:

60 days before – DO NOT undergo chemical peeling

28 days before – DO NOT undergo a botox procedure

7 days before the procedure:
– DO NOT sunbathe or use a tanning bed
– DO NOT remove eyebrow hairs with waxing, tweezers, thread, or any other method
– DO NOT dye your eyebrows
– DO NOT use retinoids/retin-A or other anti-aging/acne creams
– DO NOT apply products containing acids on your eyebrows

48 hours before – DO NOT take aspirin, ibuprofen, niacin, vitamin E, fish oil (omega-3), or CoQ10

Aftercare for your new eyebrows following microblading is extremely important for how they will look once fully healed, as well as for their longevity. I can create perfect eyebrows, but the care after that is your responsibility. Therefore, I highly recommend following these aftercare instructions carefully:

– Do not wet your eyebrows for the first 24 hours after the microblading procedure!!!
– 30-40 minutes after the procedure, gently pat the eyebrow area dry with a clean, dry tissue using soft tapping motions.
– 2-3 hours later, clean the eyebrow area with baby wipes that are ALCOHOL-FREE!!! Immediately after, gently apply regular, pure petroleum jelly to the entire treated area.

For the next 14 days, the eyebrows must be continuously moisturized to prevent scab formation. The area should not be wet, touched, or treated with any cosmetic products other than petroleum jelly. Avoid sunbathing, spa treatments, and exposure to polluted or dusty environments.
